Yalta European Strategy (YES) is a leading forum for discussing Ukraine’s European future and its place in the global context. YES fosters new ideas, connects Ukraine with international partners, supports forces for change within the country, and builds networks of supporters for a new Ukraine worldwide.
For more than 20 years, YES has fostered dialogue among leaders from Ukraine, the EU, the US, and beyond. Within Ukraine, it provides a platform for both government and opposition representatives. It brings together leaders from politics, business, media, civil society, and the expert community.

President Kaljulaid has been a member of Microsoft&#8217;s Technology and National Security Advisory Council since 2024.

Since early 2024, President Kaljulaid has served as a member of the Stockholm Environment Institute&#8217;s (SEI) global board. SEI board members are appointed by the Swedish Government.

The Estonian Agrenska Foundation is a modern consultation and development centre for disabled youngsters and their families. It works on ways of supporting not just the young people with the disabilities themselves, but them and their families as a whole. To this end, the foundation established the Tammistu Family Centre. 
President Kaljulaid has been the foundation’s patron since 2017.

Estonia has set itself the goal of its business enterprise sector investing 2% of GDP and the state 1% of GDP in research and development and innovation. In the Estonian Research Agreement, which was launched as an initiative by President Kaljulaid in 2018, employers confirmed their willingness to contribute to the adoption of research and development in the private sector. As the name suggests, the 2% Club unites companies that invest at least 2% of their annual turnover in research and development and innovation.
President Kaljulaid has been the club’s patron since its establishment in 2021.
