Kersti Kaljulaid participated in the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague. Held under the theme Global Systemic Transformation: 21st-Century Solutions to 21st-Century Challenges, this year’s forum focused on the profound geopolitical and technological changes reshaping the international order, from Russia’s war against Ukraine and rising global tensions to Europe’s competitiveness and technological sovereignty.
During the forum, President Kaljulaid joined the opening discussion on the transformation of the global order, examining how Russia’s war against Ukraine, shifting transatlantic relations, and growing geopolitical competition are reshaping international politics. She also spoke in a panel on technological sovereignty, addressing the strategic importance of semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure, and contributed to a discussion on how Europe can accelerate the adoption of AI across its economy while strengthening its competitiveness.
